The Admissions Process 

Click here to set up your on-line account to apply for admission and register for the entrance exam, to request transcripts and recommendations or schedule a school visit! Be sure to click the submit button after you complete your application to ensure receipt by The Prout School.

Register for a visit on-line to Shadow a Crusader for the day. You do not have to apply to Prout before arranging for a visit. We are limited to 6 visitors a day; so please make you appointment as soon as possible. For details on what a shadow day entails, click here. Shadow visits open up in October 2019. 

Register on-line for the entrance exam.  All 9th grade applicants must take the Catholic High School Entrance Test (HSPT) in order to be considered for acceptance. Transfer students do not require the exam. If students have not taken the HSPT they can make arrangements for a make-up date. For more details on the HSPT, click here. The HSPT for 2020-2021 will take place on December 7 or December 14, 2019.

Please provide two email addresses for recommendations from your school. Click here to provide an email in the application for your school's contact. Recommendations must be submitted to Prout directly by the teacher/ guidance counselor to ensure confidentiality.

Release records from the school the student is currently attending. Records are due to Prout by December 16, 2019. The Prout School admissions office will submit your records release form to your current school. Your transcript should come from the Guidance Office.  Click here to submit the form to allow Prout to request your records through your on-line account.
