Team Results & Schedules

The boys tennis team remains undefeated with their 7 - 0 win at EWG yesterday.  Sebastian Magnotti, Paul Smith, Joe Gilfert and Greg Violet all won their singles matches and as the doubles teams of Jesse Liquori/Jon Cowger, Stanleigh Lacomb/Jon LeFoley and Chase LaMountain/Kevin Krueger.

The boys JV tennis team won both matches played against Classical High School as the doubles teams of Joe Renzulli/Colin Fonseca and Ben Silva/Ethan Longolucco were both winners.

The baseball team won again yesterday 5 - 1 over Smithfield behind a complete game effort from senior pitcher Nick Niles.  Niles gave up an run in the 2nd inning and shutout the Sentinels the rest of the way.

The JV softball team won again 11 - 9 at Division I Chariho yesterday.  Freshmen Megan Adams and Riley Sweet along with sophomore Torey Caruolo led the 13 hit attack with three each and knocked in seven runs between them.  

The boys lacrosse team lost at home to Mt. Hope 8 - 3.  Connor and Colin Bois each had a goal as did Zach Bell and Jake Moniz, Dan Caramadre and Charlie Madeira each had an assist.  Nick Hart was steady in goal but the Mt. Hope goalie held the offense at bay all game with 21 saves.

Beginning Friday any senior varsity athlete invited to the varsity athletic banquet on Thursday, May 17th, we ask you to wear you "future college gear" to school and be prepared to take a photo with it all on during your lunch period for the video production at the banquet.  Wear a hat, t-shirt or sweat shirt, be proud of where you're going, we all want to know! 

Events today:  the golf match scheduled for today has already been postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday, May 1st same place same time, the boys and girls outdoor track meet scheduled at Westerly has also been postponed and rescheduled for tomorrow same place same time, the girls lacrosse team will host Mt. Hope at 3:45 with the JV to follow, the JV softball team will play at St. George at 4, boys JV tennis will travel to LaSalle also at 4, and the JV baseball team will play West Warwick at McCarthy Field at 4 as well.
