How do Prout coaches inspire you?
Prout coaches have been extremely inspiring and push me to be the best that I can be on and off the field. In addition to molding me into a great athlete, Prout coaches have inspired me to become a well-rounded person by truly caring about their athletes and wanting them to develop both as athletes and individuals.

Dave Oswinkle, Director of Athletics
BA, St. Thomas University
Mr. Oswinkle has about 25 years experience as a player, coach and camp director in the sport of lacrosse. He played lacrosse on the college level for three seasons. and has also played for men’s club teams in Maryland, Florida, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Mr. Oswinkle has coached at the youth level in Maryland, Florida and Rhode Island, most recently serving as the boy’s lacrosse coach at LaSalle Academy and both men's assistant lacrosse coach and club women's lacrosse head coach at Roger Williams University.
He has worked as a clinician at various summer camps and is the former Director of the Ocean State Lacrosse Camps.
The Prout School has always had a tradition of providing a balanced educational experience, including a strong emphasis on athletics. Both boys and girls are encouraged to participate in the wide-range of sports offered.
