Costume Design
Grades 10-12, 5 credits
Prerequisites: None
Students will learn about costuming and clothing in the past and present, learning how to choose and use various materials, traditional and unorthodox, to fulfill a design concept and work around budget constraints. Class work will be applied in Prout productions, designing from the director's show concept and compiling an entire costume design for the performance, dressing each actor and maintaining costumes during performances.
