Economics Today
Grades 11-12, 1 credit elective
This course focuses on the economics of everyday life. It seeks to demonstrate how the economy influences many aspects of our daily lives and investigates ways of dealing with economic change. Students will study the structure of business, the investment world, the stock market, banking and finance; the course aims at preparing students for the study of economics on the college level and for the application of economic knowledge to their daily life.
