Pre-Calculus
Grades 11 & 12, 1 credit
Prerequisites: Algebra II, and recommendation of the teacher
This class is designed for the college preparatory student who wishes to be challenged and study the areas of Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry. It is an applications-based course that will include topics in equations and inequalities, systems of equations, the graphing and transformation of polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, conics, and trigonometric functions, graphs, and identities. Use of the graphing calculator will be an important part of the class.
