Electives are available in the following areas: Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, and Computers. Some colleges highly recommend a fourth year in language, science, or social studies. Additionally, an IB diploma Candidate must take the following two-year courses: IB Biology, IB Economics, IB World Religions and Theory of Knowledge, as well as IB Math.
At present the following Advanced Placement courses are offered: AP U.S. History, AP Environmental Science, AP English, AP Studio Art, AP Calculus, and AP Chemistry.
The Prout School reserves the right to add or drop courses without prior notice, depending on enrollment and other factors.
NOTE: Students scheduled for AP and/or IB classes must sit for the AP and/or IB examinations.
