Class of 2010
Where do you volunteer and why?
I volunteer at a summer camp for children with special needs called Looking Upwards Summer Fun Days because the children are so kind and innocent, you can't help but love them.

LaSallian Youth
LaSallian Youth is a community of believers gathered in faith to share our love of God through service. Students donate many hours of their time to perform service work throughout the school year and into the summer. Members are dedicated and are always willing to help with any type of project. Moderated by Mrs. Pesta and Mr. Keefe, the one hundred plus member club has been divided into working committees, each committee responsible for a different aspect of ministry. Liturgy Committee members help organize the various prayer services and Eucharistic services by writing prayers, constructing power point presentations, and decorating the altar space. Brightview Commons Committee members share their jewelry making and computer talents with residents twice a week. The Social Justice Committee members recently presented a documentary, "Invisible Children" to the entire student body to raise awareness of what is happening to children in Rwanda. Other committees include Children's Committee and Christmas Craft Fair Committee which just raised over $900.00 for the Home for Hope Foundation in Nigeria.
