Entrance Exam
We administer the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This exam is one of the factors that will be considered in determining your acceptance into the Class of 2016. The exam has four parts; quantitative skills, math, reading, and language. The exam takes approximately 3 1/2 hours. All students will be given two essay questions to be completed that morning as well.
The Exam will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Students may check-in at 8:00 a.m. and will be given their room assignment at that time. Students are checked-in alphabetically. Students are expected to bring two no. 2 pencils.
Students are permitted to bring a light snack and a drink. Vending machines are available.
Calculators are not permitted.
Please be aware that it is important to take the entrance exam at your first choice school. The admissions department looks for students that have a great desire to attend their school.

Entrance Exam Scholarships
- Top Male and Female score receives a $1,000 tuition scholarship that is renewable for all four years
- 2nd highest Male and Female score receives a $500 tuition scholarship that is renewable for all four years
- 3rd highest Male and Female score receives a $250 tuition scholarship that is renewable for all four years
TO QUALIFY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIPS YOU MUST TAKE THE ENTRANCE EXAM AT THE PROUT SCHOOL
