How do Prout coaches inspire you?
Prout coaches have been extremely inspiring and push me to be the best that I can be on and off the field. In addition to molding me into a great athlete, Prout coaches have inspired me to become a well-rounded person by truly caring about their athletes and wanting them to develop both as athletes and individuals.

Transfer Students
Students applying as a transfer are required to submit the following materials:
The Prout School application - this document can be downloaded off of our website.
Two Teacher Recommendations - The Prout School requires two teacher recommendations. The recommendations must come from a current teacher. One math recommendation and one from a core subject (english, history, science etc...)
Recommendations should come directly from the teacher to ensure confidentiality.
Please be aware of your school's procedure for requesting the recommendations. Some schools prefer that you request these documents through the guidance counselor, other schools vary.
To be considered for fall 2008 admission all materials should be in The Prout School admissions office by February 15, 2008. Decision letters will be mailed on March 24, 2008.
Any applicant that does not have a completed application on file by February 15, 2008 will be considered a late applicant. After February 15, applications will be processed on a "rolling admissions" basis, meaning qualified students will be waitlisted until a spot is vacated in a class.
Copy of your transcripts - Please provide the guidance office with the completed records release form. Copies of the student's academic transcript should be forwarded to The Prout School. Students/parents of prospective students are required to ensure that The Prout School admissions office receives the academic transcripts by February 15, 2008.
A writing sample - The Prout School admissions office requires a written essay explaining some of the reasons why they want to be a part of the Prout community. Please submit in your own handwriting.
Transfer students may schedule a shadow day. Arrange to spend the day with a Prout student by contacting the admissions office. The shadow program begins in January for transfer students.
If you have any questions, please contact the admissions director at kneed@theproutschool.org.
Thank you,
