The Spring Dance Show will take place on Wednesday, May 21st at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. The show will feature two different pieces. The first piece of the show will highlight the classical ballet, La Bayadere, and the second part of the show will host more contemporary dances with the choreography lead by two Prout seniors – Ellie Jones and Alexandra Garcia. Both seniors have helped choreograph previous productions for the school under the guidance of the school’s Dance teacher, Mrs. Olga Timokhina. Tickets for the show will be sold at the door for $5. The show will be approximately an hour long with no intermission.
The Music Concert, taking place on Wednesday, May 28th in the school auditorium will highlight various pieces by the school’s Chorus, Show Chorus, Band and Jazz Band. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and will have a brief intermission in the middle. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.
The Art Exhibit, also taking place on May 28th will highlight the portfolios from seven graduating seniors in the AP Studio Art Class. In addition to their artwork, there will be pieces from the Introduction to Art, Drawing, Graphic Design, Ceramics and Sculpture classes on display. The artwork will be shown in the North Commons with doors opening at 6pm, all are welcome to attend.
