Volunteering for Prout
One of the best ways that individuals can help Prout succeed in its mission is by donating their valuable time. As a parent, an alumnae or alumni, a grandparent, or a friend of the school – you can contribute! Because Prout is a community of friends and associates that traditionally work together toward a common goal, there is always a need for additional help at the school – in fundraising, at alumni events, in clerical functions, and more.
Here are just some of the means in which our volunteers give of their time and energy:
- Assisting with large scale mailings to Prout constituents
- Serving on an alumni committee or as an alumni Class Scribe
- Working on a class reunion
- Soliciting donations for specific Prout events
- Speaking to classes in a particular cause or area of expertise
- Working on fundraising telethons
- Decorating for assorted functions
There certainly are other ways to contribute and you may think of a great one. So join the list of Prout School volunteers, whose work is so greatly valued. Remember, you are donating your time on behalf of our students, to help them succeed in school and beyond.
