A Gift of Personal Residence or Farm with Retained Use
- In some cases it is possible for a prospective donor to transfer ownership of their personal residence or farm to The Prout School while retaining enjoyment of the property for the remainder of your lifetime. This may be an excellent way to support The Prout School and receive a current income tax deduction for the property's discounted value. This avenue of giving also allows the donor the ability to use the property for as long as they live, while receiving some tax benefits.
