What is the purpose of a class retreat?
The first purpose of a retreat is simply to expose the kids to a whole different way of looking at life by getting them to stop their chatter for a day and think of things in a new light, the light of Christ.
Secondly, a retreat gives them a chance to bond together and to talk together about topics they may not usually talk about and to grow together as a class.
We try to achieve these goals through a balance of talks, discussion, games, videos, music, and prayer.

Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry Program takes its cue from the school’s Mission Statement which speaks of helping students to develop a committed relationship with God and to use their gifts to build up His kingdom on earth. The entire Prout community of staff, students, parents, and alumni participate together in the prayer life and outreach programs of the school. Through prayer, retreats, and service we grow together as one body in serving the Lord.
The Office of Campus Ministry consists of one part-time Chaplain and one full-time Director of Campus Ministries who work closely with the members of the religion department and the moderator of the LaSallian Youth Program to develop programs and prayer opportunities that will enhance the spiritual life of the community. These include:
