Institutional Advancement
Prout’s Office of Institutional Advancement is the center of the school’s development, marketing, public relations, fundraising, and alumni support work. Since the greater Prout community reaches all 50 states and beyond, we strive to keep in touch with former students at all points of the globe as well as individuals and businesses in our southern Rhode Island area. We welcome the role of these affinity groups in keeping us informed, and in turn hope that Prout friends, parents, students, and alum’s all participate fully in the events (both on and off campus) that keep our school community vibrant and involved.
In this section of Prout’s website, you will find information on important fundraisers such as our Golf Tournament, Spring Auction, and our Annual Fund, along with Class Reunions and Alumni Receptions, the Prout School Endowment Fund, the Crusader’s Council, and our valued Corporate Event Sponsors. These activities and institutions help explain what our office does to raise the school’s banner as high as possible.
For more than forty years, Prout has expressed a true appreciation of the individual student, combining it with the warmth of a small school community. Although we must continue to grow as an institution, and our recent additions to the physical plant have added attractive new spaces and capabilities, these physical changes have not changed Prout’s core values. We still are devoted to helping students develop intellectual and personal interests, and to “Promoting Strength in Mind, Body, and Spirit.”
We urge our alumni/ae and friends to visit the campus and view the changes, but also to remind themselves why their continued support and participation are so valued.
