Indoor Track
The indoor track season opened on Saturday, January 23. While there are no team scores or placements, the following athletes stood out for the Crusaders:
  • Jessica Mastrandrea  in the 600 meters and 1000 meters 
  • Sophia Abbott in the 600 meters and 100 meters
  • Meghan Mancini  600 meters
  • Shelby Dellasandro for the shot 
  • Also a 4 x 200 meters with Emma Baird, Lily Donegan, Sophia Abbott and Jessica Mastrandrea 
  • Nathan Amalfetano in the 300 meters
  • Blake Sykes in the 1500 meters and 1000 meters
  • Ethan Sweet in the 1500 meters and 1000 meters
  • Ben Barnes in the  3000 meters
  • Devin Kazarian for the shot
  • Also a 4 x 200 meters with Aidan Skidds, Chris Bell, Noah DeSantis and Nathan Amalfetano
The hockey team was in their first game in nearly a year on Sunday night, The Crusaders found themselves down early 3-0 against Moses Brown.
They battled back to take a 4-3 win lead by a Mark Roberts hat trick and 32 saves from Matthew Pari. Cam Fonseca also chipping in with a goal and an assist and Billy Costello with 2 helpers.

There were blocked shots and shutdown defense from all.  

Boys Basketball
Last night boys basketball season opener was one for the record books, with the Crusaders topping Ponagansett, 87-52.  John Estes had a game high 29, and Max Fiore had 13. Mike Bogosisian played close to 30 minutes with limited turnovers and John Mainella played tremendous defense, holding Ponagansett's top player to 6 points. Great team work by all.
